LOCHDOCHART ESTATE

The historic and beautiful Estate of Lochdochart lies in upper Glen Dochart and Strathfillan. It extends to 2,505 Ha: (6,180 Acres), rising in elevation from 180m - 1200m it comprizes 100 Ha of inby gound, 420 Ha woodland (including 100 Ha of Native Pinewoods and ancient woodlands) the remainder being hill and mountain.

The hillfarming unit carries 900 Cheviot ewes and a herd of 90 Pedigree Galloway and Whitebread Shorthorn cows.

Loch Dochart, with the historic Castle on the island and Loch Iubair lie mainly within the Estate.
